Superbad ripoff, this time with chicks

And I didnt even know Beanie Feldstein was Jonah Hill's sister when I saw it! I found some of the young supporting cast had fairly good comic presence and I wouldnt be surprised if some of them go.on to bigger work. The near-unanimous praise from critics is what led me to see it. It currently has an inexplicable 84 on Metacritic. I was hoping for a sensitive high school dramedy about smart students who actually care about school, but that's not where it goes. Save your money and wait til it shows up on streaming or cable. Good for a few mild chuckles but hardly deserving of the hosannas the critics are singing for this derivative piece of work.
