The thing I loved about Eddie Murphy and Marlon Wayans who are two Black entertainers that I idolize, who never really made their careers talking about race. Just be an entertainer and leave the race *beep* out of it. I have never liked Paul Mooney he doesn't do it for me.
shareWell Paul is a lot older than Eddie and Marlon and when Paul was at his creative height so was racism in this country. Paul just drew on what he knew and what existed at the time. Paul wrote most of Richard Pryor's material and the two wrote about the black perspective within the black community, black people's perspective of America overall and America's perspective of black people. George, as a Mexican, can do the same based on his and his people's experiences. Actually any minority can do this in America. America in all of its ignorance has pretty much written these jokes for the comedians.
