I wanted to watch him to support Conan, but...

I know George graciously stepped out of the way to give Conan his time slot, and I appreciated that. I didn't want to see his show suffer because of something nice he did for Conan, so I thought I would watch it to help boost any ratings he may have lost by being an hour later.

The first time I tried to watch, almost immediately he insulted President Bush, and I was like "...really?" I had to put up with Bush bashing for 8 years, and now 2 years into an incredibly bad new administration, an administration even most liberals I know are unhappy with, he's insulting Bush? Let it go!

Then tonight he was on Conan and was raving about obama, and that was bad enough, but whatever. He's a fan. He's entitled to be.

It was because, and ONLY because, his guest tonight is Zachary Levi that I am sitting here watching this drivel. This is the worst talk show I've ever seen. I'm surprised. I love the big, flashy set. I think it's fun and cool. And unique. I liked George well enough when I saw him on other things in the past.

But one of the first things he said tonight when he came out was bashing Bush again. This is just silly. I don't care if you hate Bush and think he was the worst President ever. It's old. And it does nothing at all to distract from the current administration's failings.

But that's not all.

I kept watching because I want to see Zachary. And it's just BAD! I mean... BAD! George is not funny at all. The audience looks largely uncomfortable. I would hate to be one of them.

So tonight is it. I'll keep it on until I see Zachary, and then I'm out. If people actually like and watch this show, fine. I don't care if it's on the air. But I will not be watching it.

Lol Conan is a better show and bigger star, Lopez didnt step aside for anybody it was just temporary time slot for him until Conan show started.

No it wasn't. Lopez Tonight premiered Nov. 2009, Conan O'Brien was still employed by NBC until January 22nd, and wasn't allowed to make any deals with any other networks for 6 months. So from November 2009 until July 2010, there was no way Lopez nor TBS had any idea Conan O'Brien would have a show on their network.

I bet Lopez has some regrets now that he let a gringo take his place because Lopez's ratings were actually HIGHER in that 11 PM eastern time slot that Conan's are now in that same time slot!! LMAO!!

So Lopez got better ratings than Conan does now in this time slot!!

Please provide a link to these ratings of which you speak.

Thanks.

Every piece of data I have ever read refutes this. Will provide links if necessary.

I think George is a nice guy, but I don't think we can really put down his agreeing to vacate his timeslot as simply an act of pure generosity. Certainly no more than Jay Leno's vacating "The Tonight Show" for Conan was something he actually wanted to do either. I think the real deal was if he went to midnight, and without complaint, then George could keep his show (which I understand was pretty close to getting the axe anyway). But, if he complained (like Conan did about being asked to move to midnight) then "Lopez Tonight" in all likelihood was finished. But with or without his gracious consent, George was gonna have to move. I do think he made the right business decision though as being bumped sure beats having no show at all.

You're probably right, and we probably only see what they want us to see. But I think Conan is an honorable man, and he showed that in many ways during his own ordeal. What I heard him say was that he was offered George's time-slot, and he said no, that he wouldn't do to someone else what they had just tried to do to him. But then George stepped up and said "No, please! It's all yours, I'll move." Or something to that effect. I think it was an interview I watched with the two of them, or something, I don't remember. But that was where I got my information.

Lopez wants his time slot back from the goofy gringo because the goofy gringo's ratings suck!

"And if Lopez and his fans can constantly make fun of white people and call them gringo's then guess what? I'm gonna call him a taco ni--er. Fill in the blanks."
We'll from the stupid racicial slur you've come up with, im guessing you already were using these slurs before you read this ignorant fools post. You see the N word is a slur against the blacks. By saying Taco N your implying that hispanics are the taco eating (equivelent?)of the blacks that you hate so much. Now a black person might read this and say "hey if this guy uses the N word, then guess what im gonna him a cracker or honkey or "goofy gringo"."
So dont be a little kid and say "well if u can say this i can say this nanana"
Be the better man.

CALL 911! NOW! IM DYIN!
