That's one of my biggest pet peeves when it comes to Christmas movies...I literally have trouble focusing on the plot when it's supposed to be Christmas in a cold climate and it looks like they should be going swimming!

they did that in a movie this year....the people were mostly running around without coats....and then the little boy wanted snow for christmas.....i said to my mom, um, they're supposed to be in wisconsin, and there's no snow....how stupid is that part.....lol..

but just think of it this way they always screw up the movies.....ever since the classic it's a wonderful life...it was filmed in july, or at least it was released then...so......there you go....

they've always done it, and they always will, i guess the lack of snow in LA....gets to their brains, and they forget that there's a certain thing about snow, and cold, in the northern parts of the country...lol......

The completely vertical shadows are what tip me off, and make me groan in disappointment. They film right around noon hour in July, so there are almost no shadows cast by cars and buildings, which is impossible around the solstice in December.
Add to that the fact that it is obviously very warm if not hot outside, and you have to roll your eyes.

I think that it would be best if they set these Christmas movies in the southern hemisphere where they do get summery Christmases. Like someone else said on here, I think these films are made in July.

We walk aroubd in Denver most of the winter and it LOOKS like Summer-blue skies, sunny-but it's COLD outside.
