Info on music used?
There are some musical pieces used in "WWII in HD" that I'd like to find copies of. Is there any information on the music used?

shareI watched the credits after the final episode -- which had to be done at 1/15 speed to be readable. I happen to notice credits for two stock music libraries. I saw no credit for original music.
The credits here on IMDb are rather incomplete considering what I read on screen. All I can suggest is to record and review the end credits. Even at that it's going to be nearly impossible to determine which tracks were used from a stock library.

Some of my music is used in the series. Do you know what pieces you're looking for?
shareAll the music for the series comes from either Extreme Music, Music Beyond or Firstcom.

How about in the first one 'Darkness Falls' when the soldiers are heading towards the beach. Its a few minutes before the guy says 'Are the Japs this stupid?'
shareDoes anyone know what the name of the piece which is played in the "Battle Stations" episode while they are showing clips of London's damage as a result of bombings; it also has Churchill speaking in the background. (It is where Charles Sheffel is describing what he saw on his first trip to London)
Thanks for any help,
Roger
I've been looking for this piece for a while now also, without any luck!
shareHave been looking for this one for a while, and did cartwheels when I found it.
Go to Extrememusic.com and do a search for "Mystic Prelude".
do you know the music during Macarthur's return scene?
I noticed alot of Duduk music.
For those of you not aware of the Duduk, it is an ancient Armenian instrument that is the deepest and most saddest instrument in the world. As I said, there was plenty of this instrument in these documentaries. One I noticed them playing was "Dle Yaman", an old Armenian country/folk arrangement, which can be found on youtube here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_3hOtsxAYzM
For more on the Duduk I would recommend looking up the legend, Djivan (Jivan) Gasparyan or his apprentice, Peter Gabriel musician, Levon Minassian.
Other than that, I dont know much of the rest of the music in this documentary.
On a side note, this music was also used in "Gladiator." Seems like I heard "In Foreign lands" also, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AG6KSfYo2Iw
