Nope neither. She is Michelle's daughter from her ex husband Chris Pike.

Yeah I was confused too. Cuz imdb only has michelle having two kids an she wasn't listed under lorenzos kids. But I noticed she was calling michelle mom an lorenzo your dad

Lamas has been married four times. His first marriage was to Victoria Hilbert from 1981-82. His next marriage was to Michele Smith in 1983, resulting in three children: son A.J. Lamas (born December 19,1983), daughter Shayne Lamas (born November 9,1985), and Dakota Lamas.

Dakota Jordan Pike-Lamas is not Lorenzo's biological daughter. When Lorenzo and Shayne appeared on the Chelsea handler show, he said that he has six children. Two from his second marriage (A.J. & Shayne), three from his last marriage (Alexandra, Victoria, & Isabella), and one out of wedlock (Paton Lee Ashbrook).

So Dakota isn't Lorenzo's daughter. However on this week's episode it's mentioned that Dakota isn't 21 yet. Dakota was born in 1990 but her mom's marriage to Lorenzo ended 1985. So how is it that she's a Lamas? I can understand adopting your current wife's kid(s) from a previous relationship but it's kind of weird to adopt your ex's children from a post marriage.

Interesting enough is that on tonight's episode when Lorenzo is "singing" the national anthem Alexandra and Victoria are shown, and under their names are mentioned as "Shayne's Half Sisters". Yet Dakota is referred to as "Shayne's Sister".

If Lorenzo isn't her real dad then she should also be listed as a half sister. Or atleast drop the half from the younger kids' names and simply refer to them as "Shayne's Sisters" too.

A lot of people consider the siblings they live with their sister/brother and the ones they don't their half sister/brother. Even if both are half.

On Michelle's page her name is Dakota Pike.
Look at her - she does not look like Lorenzo like the other kids do or his doppleganger son AJ.

Michele could have kept the last name Lamas and passed it on to her, or maybe because her other brother and sister were Lamas she wanted her to fit in.

Either way she isn't Lorenzo's daughter. Wiki has her father listed as Pike and she might choose not to go by that name or E! changed it. The discrepancy could be just for the show (like Kendall, Kylie, Kris and Bruce are all Jenner but the show's called Keeping Up with the Kardashians?).

I'm guessing she's listed as sister (instead of step) because AJ and Shayne consider her their full sister. They lived with each other so it's understandable why she wouldn't be step, even though technically they're are not fully blood related. While Shauna's daughters were listed as step because Shayne and AJ didn't live with their father or they were older and view the girls as Shauna's children. I'm guessing because they grew up together (lived in the same house, might have even called Dakota's dad step-dad at one point) they're very close and don't view each other like that (as evidenced by the comfortability between Dakota and Lorenzo).

Dakota's father's name is Craig Pike.

And she is not adopted. She changed her name after she graduated high school.
