Seriously just watch the 1940 version.

You can tell the same story multiple times over. It's why we still get film adaptations of Shakespeare.

But if the story's been told as well as it can be told, why tell it again?

I am watching the 2019 version based on the original tale.

I feel the same way about Little Women and Anne of Green Gables.

Well, we haven't had "Piwokio" yet, so it's about time.
