A movie for the seriously immature

Last night my daughter's incredibly immature boyfriend brought this over to our house for he, my daughter (both age 19), my wife and I to watch. As soon as I saw poop go into a mouth I knew this would be bad beyond words. A few minutes later there was a nude scene with a woman with an obviously false face and boobs (apparently intended to make a (failed)joke of bad plastic surgery) and the character simulating sex with the woman. By that point I'd had enough.
My hope is this will convince my daughter that her boyfriend is too immature to continue with.

For anyone who thinks poop in the mouth is funny or simulated sex scenes with freaks are entertaining, then you must be really immature and here is the best advice you should heed: GROW UP!

"That's not a baby, that's a Mister Potato Head."

reply

I concur.

I'm 24 and I enjoyed this movie. You're an incredibly shallow person if you judge him by what movie he brings and if he thinks it's funny.

I hope he snatches your daughter and runs away cause he seems like a better person than you ;)

reply

That's kind of like saying you're shallow for judging someone for the kind of drugs they take.

If I went around scrutinizing every little thing I wrote, I'd never get anything done. You do it.

reply

Excellent response.

"That's not a baby, that's a Mister Potato Head."

reply

Actually, it's not even close to the same thing. In fact it's one of the most absurd analogies I've ever seen.

If you hated the movie, that's fine. But lots of so-called "mature" people have a low brow sense of humor. It's entirely possible that the dude is very immature, but you can't judge someone's maturity level based on whether or not they laugh at poop jokes.

reply

So if the type of movies he watches doesn't help determine maturity...what does?

If I went around scrutinizing every little thing I wrote, I'd never get anything done. You do it.

reply

"He probably nailed your daughter, and might have explored all orifices of hers so he won't mind leaving her. He got what he wanted by now"

Excellent response.

Seriously man, you can't judge a person's entire personality based off of one movie he suggested. That's asinine.

Welcome to Costco. I love you.

Well said Detective!

I enjoyed this movie as well...but not really understanding why the OP wants to make a point of judging someone's maturity level based on one movie they suggested.

reply

take my earlier advice: GROW UP!

"That's not a baby, that's a Mister Potato Head."

reply

Actually I'm all grown up but I'll always be me despite what a number says and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Be sure to send your daughter my regards on their wedding day :)

My daughter's boyfriend brought over Old School last night...I think it's time she dumps him. Lol. Maybe you should recommend they watch Dances With Wolves or Mr. Holland's Opus. I feel bad for your daughter and her boyfriend.

How MATURE of you to come on here just to insult us immature people...that was a good one!

I'd also like to add that I watched this movie with my 70 year old grandparents who laughed right along with me...Are they immature too?

reply

Apparently so. Just goes to show age and maturity aren't the same thing.

"Santa make him hurry, tell him he can take the freeway down"

reply

HAHA...okay, there's obviously no reasoning with a person such as yourself. Have a good life, you sad little man.

PEACE!

I think this is just a case of generations not being able to share cinema styles. When I was 19 I was and still am a fan of martial arts movies. How many parents do you think would want to sit through a martial arts movie even today, and don't include Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon?

You. Are. Pathetic.

I believe your naivety blinds your common sense. What did you do when you were a younger lad? Were you the spitting image of a wealthy politician; was your tongue silver?

You can attempt to guide your daughter/son, but, you will only push them away with your attitude.

No, child, you are the immature, shallow, waste... that defiles our planet.

Simple minded fool.
