Hollywood has people suckered

This movie is an example of the tattoo brainwash going right now. Americans that are wannabes fall right into it. The stupid scene going to the tattoo parlor was ridiculous. Enjoy your low paying jobs forever. Tattoos are permanent. The tattoo industry must be filtering billions of dollars into these films to get the suckers to have to get that tattoo or that 16th tattoo. lmao. I am glad I have not fallen into that sheeple mentality.

people get inked for a myraid of reasons, none of which have anything to do with being brainwashed by hollywood

to remember someone.. to commemorate a special event (marriage/birth) .. religious significance.. as an induction ritual.. to impress chicks.. to look tough.. military unity.. zodiac/astrological reasons, etc.

and i'm pretty sure that there's no direct link between ink and low wages.. the NBA rookie minimum sniffs around $500,000.. do you make that much?

There are very few celebrities compared to execs. I have driven through nicer neighborhoods and you see less people with tattoos, if any at all. You can not compare a famous person with a tattoo , to your regular professional... financial advisor, lawyer, doctor etc. I do not buy it. I also noticed most tattoo people are smokers which tells me they follow the crowd and lets not forget prison inmates. Sorry I do not buy the art argument. I doubt many tattoo people have even stepped into an art museum or art gallery. I am just revealing the real world. Tattoos will limit job ops, dating ops etc. You can not compare an NBA player to a professional lmao. To state NONE has to do with Hollywood is being very naive.

hey.. you may very well be right.. maybe tattoos are far less common among bankers, doctors and lawyers.. i don't have time to drive through different neighborhoods staring at people, trying to see if they have ink or not.. so i'll take your word for it

i also don't know the smoking habits of most tattooed people.. nor do i know if tattooed people frequent art galleries or not.. you seem to have emperical data on both.. so again, i'll defer to your expertise

I agree with OP, this thing has gotten way out of hand. People are not thinking of the future.

I'm no fan of tattoos, but to suspect that tattoos are somehow a part of some Hollywood conspiracy to prevent people from being successful is f-cking absurd.

reply

I did not say that Hollywood is doing this to prevent people from being successful. It is merely a residual affect of people that get their style cues from Hollywood. I do believe that the tattoo industry is investing money into Hollywood productions to further this wacky permanence on ones body.

You can have tattoos and good job if you hide them in places you can cover up with cloths. That's what some of the people in my family has done.

Isn't it just soccer moms that get tattoos nowadays?
