Forte

I love the thing about "forte" near the beginning. I've pronounced it correctly and had people correct me, but I'd still rather know I'm right and let everyone else think I'm wrong, so I do pronounce it with a silent "e."

I correct people all the time when they say things like "I'll hold down the fort" (it's supposed to be I'll hold the fort but everyone adds the 'down')
