is it like Ils and Eden Lake?

is it like those movies? just some young kids terrorizing some people for no reason? if not, I'd like to no (please no spoilers)

yup exact same. in a way a bit more shallow though because it doesnt even have a subtext about youth culture because the killers or their motives are never shown in any way.. that also makes it very un-entertaining.

A crappy movie about kids killing their teachers, and no, the teachers don't try to fight back, they just run and hide and die.

In a word NO this pales into insignificance compared to both those movies. Its really lame, apart from some good acting from the lead character the rest was just one stupid decision and cliche following the next. And the ending isn't thought provoking or clever its just lazy story telling.

I found this movie the worst school violence movie ever! If you wanna see something meaningful about the subject, just watch Gus van Sant's "Elephant" (2003) or Estonian "Klass" (2007). At least there is a point in those movies...

Oh please, don't listen to those saying its like Eden Lake or Ils. This movie doesn't have 10% of the substance that those two had.

Eden Lake is one of the best movies I have seen in the horror/suspense/slasher genre, period. 'F' is just as you described it...its a movie about some young kids terrorizing some people for no reason and the worst thing is it has absolutely no backstory at all. Yes it does give you you bits & pieces about the main character before getting down to business but its not relevant to the plot at all.

The killers pretty much come of out nowhere one day and start stabbing everyone. There really is not much suspense build up either because any new character who is introduced to us is disposed off 5-10 minutes later by the hoodies. And the ending is very abrupt too.

After about 39 minutes proceeding of the film, I felt it has "its" kind of essence as long as it is about teens killing people, for those of older ones. But "Its" is younger teens killing for fun, while "F" is kind of those rebels taking revenge against the adults who dictate the system.
