Archer or Bob's Burgers?

I LOVED Archer the very first time I saw it at 3am on an obscure channel in the UK, but since that night, I've loved every single episode of Archer. Yes, season 5 trailed off a bit, but it wasn't that bad. Butvthe latest season? I'm not sure about at all.

Anyway, I tried to watch BB's 10's of times, and I couldn't watch it, but now, I absolutely love it. I don't think as much as Archer, but I've seen every episode of Archer like, 50 times!

I also noticed the other day, he plays Carl in Family Guy?! I thought if he was in it, he'd have a bigger part than just Carl.

Archer of course. I do like Bob's Burgers as well though. The characters are so different I don't even connect them anymore.

Season 5 was good, but a lot of people missed the point. The whole point was to develop Archer and Lanas relationship as much as possible, and to give them more chemistry with each other so they'd be ready to have a serious relationship. Archer and Lana slowly bonding basically redeemed the whole season for me. It felt like the writers focused on that rather than jokes. Which is really good, since this show is too good and expansive to be a two bit piece of crap with no character development. (Which kinda felt like the writers intention during the first 2 seasons, albeit an extremely funny piece of crap)

I reckon if I could only have one...I'd have to go for Bobs Burgers. Only just.

You gotta be kidding. I like Bob's Burgers, but there are far more and better adult themes and eye candy in Archer.

I agree. But I've seen every episode of Archer 50 times or more. It's brilliant, it's hilarious, but I'm starting to lose interest, and yes, I know that's because I've watched it so much.

I actively avoided BB''s for years. Then season 8 of Archer came out, which I wasn't massively pumped about.
Well, I was until I watched it, there were some good episodes, but it was like a different show in ways.
There's still the classics I'll rewatch.
Skytanic, Swiss Miss, El Contador, heart of Archerness 1,2,3. Bloody Ferlin, Fuges and Riffs, the Luke Troy episode..... The Wind Cries Mary. And even several episodes in season 6. Archer Sanction probably being my favourite.
Then there's the doubles, like Sea Tunt, Space Race. "MARS FOREVER!"

So although I'd say Archer is better, I'd be more
likely to watch a new episode of BB''s.
I heard that season 8 of Archer hasn't even been greenlit yet? They can't kill off Dutchess! I'd be devastated.
I guess I could live without BB's, but not Archer. So I suppose if I had to choose one to be cancelled, it'd be BB's. But it's a funny show, it took a long while for me to get there though.

Just like the OP, I loved "Archer" from day one. And I tried "Bob's Burgers" at the beginning, mostly because of H. Jon Benjamin, and I didn't like it. I picked it up a couple of years later and now it is one of my favorite shows. If I had to choose one, I would pick "Archer." They are completely different shows and both are hilarious, though.
