Here we are Jan 2017 and no premier date?
So from what I can tell there still is no official date out yet.
Seems a little late to make Jan 2017 now.
What made you assume it would premiere in January? Last year it premiered at the end of March. True, it premiered in January for all the previous seasons, but that was then. It's going to be a new era of Archer as the show winds down, with a different network (FXX) and even fewer episodes per season (8). We can't take anything for granted.

Back in July, IndieWire reported a January 2017 release date from the ComicCon panel. I think they may have miss-reported that though, as other news outlets were saying "early 2017" or "some time in 2017".
