Georgian financed propergander

At the end you hear stories from real families who lost loved ones in the war. Just goes to proof that this movie plays to Georgian pride and nationalism.

No one in America should believe a word of this movie!!!!

No wonder in the last week of US release it banked $305 dollars. Not even the Georgian ex-pats would go and see this movie.

DON'T WATCH IT!! If you want to know the history of the war. Wikipedia instead.

Nice special effects but.

Yeah Wikipedia, not always a reliable source I hope you realise.
Wikipedia can be great but it can also be a lot of biased made up stuff.
This film is Georgian propaganda for sure but if you are from Russia you should be able to spot state sponsored propaganda?
Russia is setting the world an example at the moment with its very free and fair elections and it allowing people to demonstrate in Moscow without being beaten up by the police?

Russia,great country,great people,crap government and political system.

This movie wasn't Georgian financed, it was American financed. There was a conflict, a fairly bloody conflict where Russia pulled out all the stops and threw everything it had at a small country wiping out it's military and pretty much destroying it as a nation. This is golden propaganda to the United states, as it shows the Russian bear tearing apart a tiny mouse.

What it does not show is the years of provocation towards Russia and the years of harbouring and supplying Russia's terrorist enemies. You can only poke a hornet's nest so many times.

Opinions are just onions with pi in them.

You russians are a bunch of sick savages

I am no Russian, I don't have to be a Russian to recognize filthy propaganda like this film. Reny Harlin is the sellsword of Hollywood. I remember recent history.
