He should stick to simple roles. I have enjoyed watching him in some other movies but I didn't expect to see such a disaster of acting in The Raven.
Also, the movie was so-so. I give it 5/10 for some other actors and visuals. The credit sequence is beyond stupid and too modern, so even at the end, the movie manages to piss you off.
Bad movie, but Cusack resembles Poe more closely than other actors.

I was more bothered by his "acting" in this movie. What a disaster.
I am about 30 minutes in, and Cusack is not doing it for me. It's actually kinda ridiculous.
shareI usually like John Cusack, but this role wasn't meant for him. They should have chosen someone with a little more "oomph" or character, like Robert Downey Jr.
