Did anyone else... (*spoilers*)

...laugh uncontrollably when the massive horde of cows stamped on Nicholas over and over again? I don't know if that were the intention of the director, but I literaly doubled over with laughter at that scene and couldn't stop laughing lol.

You're sick and twisted and a horrible human being.

and yes, I was laughing pretty damn hard.

No. I thought it was tragic and sad. He was a lout, but he didn't deserve to be trampled to death.

Well, it was a comedic death, wasn't it, with the computer-animated cows running in an excited manner. It's the exact kind of twisted black humor you'd expect from British comedy.

Was it? I thought it was rather bizarre, but somehow fitted this rather odd little film that was neither funny nor dramatic to any degree and peopled with as unlikeable crowd of characters as you are ever likely to meet.🐭

It is stated in the film credits that "No livestock, dog or any other animals were maltreated or harmed in the making of this film." I could not a find a similar disclaimer concerning the actors.

Alfred Hitchcock is quoted as having said actor are like cattle. Perhaps they are covered under this. Hope this helps.
