The trailer really reminds me the movie Cold comfort farm directed by John Schlesinger in 1995.
John Schlesinger also directed the 1967 movie "Far from the Madding Crowd" the film adaptation of the Thomas Hardy novel.
The only thing that really reminded me of Cold Comfort Farm was when Glen referred to Andy and Tamara's first time having sex as "something hot in the woodshed" (or something similar). Reminded me of "something nasty in the woodshed" from CCF. In fact, wasn't it meant to play on that line?
shareI've only started watching it (less than 10 minutes into it), and I thought of "Cold Comfort Farm"! Perhaps it was the "hunk", the cows and the writers.
