and Red's boyfriend was named Peter as well :)
I wonder if that's any significance? As far as in Red Riding Hood variations, if there's always a Peter or something.
I could be way off base here, but I'm pretty sure that there is a fable/ fairy tale called "Peter and the Wolf." Sometimes that story is mixed in with the "Little Red Riding Hood" story when they're being used as the basis for a bigger, romanticized version.
