Those humans just develop feathers because they WANT to learn to fly? Even if evolution was sped up by the plant to have more and faster mutations, it wouldn't work like that lol. Those feathers give no advantage at all.
But apart from the science, great movie :P
All this about a film about a man made of Rubber and living normally? Or a show with a person who can become nothing but Sand and still have a beating heart? I don't think you get Oda...

You don't understand how the plant works - it actually allows the specimen to grow what they NEED, not random mutations.
