Ok..the kid fell off the stage and all the mom cared about was her finishing the stupid pageant? WTF?? They need to arrest her now!

I'm horrified what I see here. This lady should be arrested! How the hell can she NOT panic when her little girl falls from that huge stage? Oh sure she came to her daughter, AFter everyone else did. I didnt like this little girl very much to begin with, and now I know why. I hope she grows up to be her OWN self and nothing like her lazy mother.

I was just thinking the same thing about Kiki's Mom when I came on the message board. Poor Kiki took a nasty fall and she was hurt and embarrassed. All her Mom cared about was getting her back on the stage and getting that $1,000 check. It's disgusting for parents to force their kids to do anything after they've been injured. What the hell is wrong with people today?

I'm going to be hated for saying this, but I remember falling off of playground equipment that high as a kid, maybe even higher. If I wasn't bleeding and nothing was broken, I was sent to play some more. And that's what I wanted to do.

i agree with you. that stage was what, 3 feet tall? it's not as if she fell off the top of the empire state bldg.
that's like jumping down a couple of steps, kids do stuff like that all the time.

she wasn't so hurt that she couldn't put on a big dramatic performance, was she?

Yes, definitely suck it up and move on, but c'mon...the mom didn't even get up and go to her until other people did. And did you see how she fell? It wasn't like a jump off the stage. Her one leg went and then the other. She could've pulled something and even broken something. All I'm saying is that mom just wanted her back up there without even checking her out. When I fell off a swing and came in crying, yes, my mom checked me out and if I was ok sent me back out to play. This kid wanted to go home!

I will agree that her mother should've gotten up to check on her immediately. However, to say she should be arrested for not rushing her to the emergency room seems over the top imo.

why would a mother be arrested for putting a child in a pageant? granted, all those mothers are wackos but there's nothing illegal in dressing up a kid and putting her on stage.

It's also all the beauty "crap" the mom is feeding the child
about Physical Beauty..this child calls herself a beauty queen
AND SHE BELIEVES IT...when she lost that contest after falling off
the stage - her mom asks her "Who is the most beautiful girl in the World?
and the child says "I am" without batting an eye...this child is due for a
major let-down, when she finally sees her looks are well below average.
Her mom should be teaching her to excell in her schoolwork and not live
her life thinking she is a beauty...which anyone even from the Braille Institute
she is as plain as an old shoe.

I know what you mean. I was getting pretty tired of hearing her mom ask her that about 30 times in the span of an hour long show. I'm all for teaching confidence but this woman went overboard.
