Do you think that the restaurants shown are just friends of the guest talking about it? I mean, they obviously have a camera crew go to that place and film the making of each particular meal and that’s “free” advertisement, right? Also, when the guest will sometimes eat their favorite thing on the set (the one with the white background), do you think they had it shipped from Cali or Texas or wherever or did they just make something similar at the Food Network kitchens just to show their enthusiasm for it? Just a thought…

i think they're in the actual restaurant when doing the bits with the white background. but i could be wrong on that. i had seen a clip of Adam Gertler with the background and he got up and the camera changed and you could see he was in the restaurant.

Where are Paula & Rachael? I think we've seen most of the others. What about Kelsey Nixon? She could be on there, as she has guested on a couple of the other shows. How about the Deen boys? Sarah? The Chairman? They have the same people over & over again. It's been nice seeing Melissa a couple of times.
