How can you have a baby, when you are so skinny?

I'm watching tonight's new episode of this show, and I am shocked at how skinny she is. I know she's on tv and you have to look a certain way, but if you want to have a kid, you have to gain weight in order to do it, 5lbs isn't going to help. I watched a few episodes from the beginning, and how she wanted to have a kid, and the doctor told her she needed to gain weight in order to do it, but she basically refused, and from what I've seen she hasn't done it. She is still stick thin, the shirt she had on at the doctor's office was huge. I'm sorry she went through a miscarriage, but hopefully she'll get what she wants in the end.

She did it but like you said, it was 5 pounds. That's nothing.

I really like them so hate to say this, but cannot help but wonder if there is not possibly an eating disorder of some type involved. She is almost skeletal.

I completely agree!!!!

If she looks like skeletor on camera - imagine how nasty she looks in person.

I actually LOVE her. She is funny and goofy and let's face it, Bill is the perfect man.

But, if you wanna get pregnant, Gulianna, try eating a big ol sammich. She is disgustingly thin.

IMO she should eat what her Mama cooks, enjoy eating! She has a great life and people love her, not her body.

I LOVE her too! Her personality is awesome but she's so hard to watch being so gaunt!! That human lollipop look is NOT cute.

Hard to worry about eating when you're losing weight on top of weight. How much do boobs weigh anyway? Thats like what 2 or 3 pounds each I'd guess and she's losing two so she's down from like a total weight of 50 pounds down to 45 or so.....

Or maybe Mama just doesn't know how to handle that her daughter has an eating disorder.
I think it's a natural response to try and get an anorexic to eat.

Its pretty obvious that here anorexic body type is the reason she couldnt sustain a pregnancy, and with the high level of doctors she had been to, there is no doubt that she was told this at least a couple times, and for her not to gain weight is pretty selfish on her part

People should have to pass a common sense test to be able to use message boards

wow, there are so many doctors here that are able to diagnose people just by looking at them. Can I send you guys a picture of my throat and you can tell me of I have strep throat or not? Thanks in advance for you medical expertise ;)
