Very clunky. The director approached Michael C. Hall with this project through a friend from Michael's NYU days. 99% of the time that's the wrong way to take up a movie.
shareIf you don;t like movies based on the odd characters that populate the lives of many, then this movie is not for you. It gave a message about the coming of age of a man stunted in his growth by his mother's premature death. His father was loving and cared for his son and it showed.
I found it very interesting and a real character study of those not in the mainstream. NYC is full of those types.
The only one who I felt didn't belong was Lucy Liu's character.
