Fate of the characters - Spoiler

So the conductor deserved to die because he cheated on his wife and called Katerina a nutcase? Yikes! That's some harsh feminist justice!

But tonight we should have fun, not dwell on Scott Baio.

reply

I don't think anyone is supposed to think he deserved to die, per se.

Yes, it is not his fault for leading her on. She knew he was married and had a kid. And it was her fault for breaking up with her boyfriend.

But the reality is life isn't always fair. He essentially ruined Katrina's life to protect his own life, by having her fired knowing she has no where to go. In a weird way his life was traded for hers to live.

I don't he deserved to die as much as this was always a possibility. When you take an emotionally vulnerable young woman and mess with her head, chances are she will do something crazy.

reply

Nobody deserves to die. Do you? Do I? Who gets to decide? Nobody SHOULD die, however we all shall.

Only that evil homicidal psychopath god is allowed to kill, and s/he's just an occult figment of a fevered imagination. To attribute murder to a third party, especially an imaginative deity, is still murder.

Are you a murderer, or do you just condone murder?
