It felt like the movie could have had a natural ending at about 70 minutes in. That being too short they tacked on some stuff to lengthen it, or that is how it felt to me. The scene with the 2 parents smoking dope with some random students in their dorm seemed forced and silly.
Having said that, the cast is good, the cinematography is nice and there is some good chemistry between Farmiga and Garcia too.
I agree that the cinematography was nice. It was focused all the time.

shareSo right. From the dorm room on seemed like it wasn't written by the same people who wrote the first part. The dorm room was lame. Pit smoking baby boomers was funny in "It's Complicated" but stupid, forced and out of character here.
shareI agree with these comments. It should have ended shortly after they parted the first time and maybe with both kids saying that they might like Middleton.
