Lovin' it!

The first episode last week was sooooo funny, in my opinion. Firephant, dancing horse and The Jew Song (not racist before anyone starts - Steve is a Jew). Brilliant! :)

I like the way they keep it loose with improvisations and leave in the corpsing, which predominantly comes from Greg. It makes the show quite ramshackle and interesting, and any programme that contains the phrase "Xylophone your mum" is surely at least worth a look.

What's that? You just called me a bastard didn't you!

I really love it.... did you see tonight's episode?

I hear voices, they say go home, go to bed early, but I always ignore them, and carry on killing.

Saw last night's episode. So funny. Off to see Greg Davies live next month in Sheffield. Saw Klang earlier this year and they were fab! :)

I can't see many people going "Yea well, it's sort of ok, I quite like it" when they see WAK for the first time. They're either gonna completely LOVE it, or think "What the fek is this rubbish?!"...as demonstrated by the current IMDB user comments.

For me definately the former. IMO the first 2 episodes were inspired genius from start to finish. The heavy Goodies/Young Ones/Bottom/Python/Vic & Bob influences are all there in plain view, but they do it so darn well so who cares? I've not laughed so much at a new prog in years :) Can't wait for the next one.

I have to agree with the OP. I love this. As they mentioned themselves, it is like the Goodies.
I really welcome a show that tries nothing more than to be funny. There is no question of whether it's clever or satirical, it's just balls out get any laugh.
There are bits you will cringe at, there are bits you'll laugh out loud at, but it honestly, simply aks for your laughs without excluding you if you don't get everything.

This show has really started to grow on me. The first episode I watched (which was episode 2, I think) I did think what the hell is this rubbish yet kept on watching.

I found myself tuning in the following week and actually enjoying it. There are some things that do work and don't work, but I think every comedy has that problem.

I agree.

Now, before anyone complains, I'm not liking WAK to Monty Python but, when I watch Python episodes, I rarely laugh outloud, yet I am a huge Python fan. I just love the surreal, strangeness of the show.

And I think that's what I adore about We Are Klang.

Can't believe the series has come to an end! :(

i hated this the first 1 i saw but after that i really started 2 get into it !

gud show but i wish theyd cut back on the laugh track

I think it was filmed in front of a live audience, which to be fair a show like this needs.

I first started looking for Klang stuff online after seeing Greg Davies on Buzzcocks last year (probably not the way most people got into them), found the first episode of The Klang Show and loved it.

Luckily I love bizarre physical humor after becoming a huge fan of Vic and Bob as a kid, and it obviously affected my tastes forever.
As with Vic and Bob, you don't need to understand what's going on or expect some earnest message hidden in it all, it's humor for the sake of been funny and entertaining people, and there's nothing wrong with that (as some people who've been posting here have been implying). : )

The Klang Show pilot was great. I agree that it's good to just sit back and enjoy the absurdity of it all. :)
