Dr. Seuss writes BOOKS.
I always think it's funny when authors write books about how dreadful it is to chop down even a single tree. (My daughter is watching The Lorax right ow and yes, it was cutting down a *single* tree that caused the Lorax to flip his lid. It may be different in the book but I haven't read it since the 1980s.) What did Dr Seuss think that his books were going to be printed on? He does realize that they are made from paper and paper are made from trees, right?
I always have this same thought in the Lord of the Rings when Tolkien gets all angsty about trees being torn down. Again: sir, you write books.
Am I the only one who sees the irony in this? :D
