Is there a book (fiction or non-) this movie draws upon?

Am uncertain just how much of the book the movie is actually based upon, but it is called "The Genesis Code," by John Case. Case's story is much more nefarious, about the ongoing murders of mothers and their sons, as well as the conflict between a fertility clinic and a fanatic religious order. Not really the same storyline, although it does seek to answer some questions that concern both science and religion. There is a movie to be released next year, in 2012, also called "The Genesis Code," which is purportedly based much more on the book than was the 2010 movie.
