Pleased me.

Overall, I liked this movie.

While I liked all three stories, I think I felt most closely connected with Annie. She struggles with a difficult situation, but she really tries to make the best of it. I felt sad that her self esteem was so shot, and really hoped she could find some way to bring herself up. I loved Tony Hale’s character – it was easy to believe that he’s been shunned all his life. He’s not the best-looking guy out there, and his mannerisms and quirks could certainly put people off. (I presonally felt like he leaned a bit more towards 'creepy' than 'friendly' - at first) But deep down, we learn that he has a heart of gold, and I was just hoping that Annie could come to see it.
