Now they are ripping off Big Bang Theory?

The coin flip making decisions is ripping off a BBT lame gag from years back. How much lamer can this show get? At this point it's like an endurance competition to finish the series.

reply

Because a flip of the coin to determine a decision has NEVER been done before the Big Bang Theory did it!

The Big Bang Theory ripped off Three's Company by having roommates living together!

And Three's Company ripped off Gilligan's Island.

Please list the other tv shows that had a storyline where a random outcome of a inanimate object determined how one of the characters made several life decisions during an episode. You insinuated that it has been done countless times so you should have no problem listing at least ten.

I'll check back later.

First off, I didn't say that other TV shows did it. I'm saying that it's not an uncommon thing to be done. Second of all, look at the character Two Face in Batman. All of his decisions are based on the flip of a coin. So if anything, you can say that, since on Big Bang Theory they are all comic nerds, they are copying Two Face.

However, if you want a list of times it has been used in film, tv, books, etc, here you go:

No, you're right no one ever flipped a coin to make a life decision before the BBT.

BBT invented it, good catch

I don't know about 10 but this does remind me of the episode of community with the die roll. Where there were 7 different outcomes to the story.

Two-Face in the Batman series does it. It's not a new concept.

reply

Not a TV Show...but No Country for Old men. Also Harvey Dent/ Two Face.
