Or does the sheer wretchedness of the entire final season nullify the finale getting special recognition? Personally I'm disappointed that Pete came out on top but I guess it's just following the inane pattern of Pete playing out of his league in life the whole run of he series.
There are far worst series finales so I don't think it deserves any recognition for that. Now worst final seasons is another thread entirely.
Really terrible. So Ruxin loses his wife, Kevin loses his balls, Andre loses everything pretty much, while Pete wins a million dollars, a dream beach house, and is the real father of Andre's kid? All the while Jenny and Taco are the usual useless selves. I had been less hard on this season and last than others, but this ending is just piss poor.

That was just stupid. In no way was it a finality. It just felt like a regular pointless episode this season to me. Everything was pretty much left up in the air. I can't help but feel Kevin's demise was because of the actors recent controversial reveal btw.
shareKevin choked to death AND was stabbed in the nuts and lost both testicles. He got punished big time. I was thinking the exact same thing as you were. He lied about being in 9/11 tragedy and this was his way of doing penance.

shareYeah i thought the finale would be an hour long and have some closure but at least it was kinda funny. The penultimate episode was probably funniest all season.

I will vote for one of the absolute worst final seasons for a TV series. They knew this was their last season and they phoned this in, half the episodes didn't even involve the entire cast. I felt they kind of just laid a smelly dump and walked away.
