That last season was so *beep* Sophia death ep was so *beep* Then that crap of a finale so so bad. Thats just cruel to Andre.
shareIt was cruel, but the entire series was about the league being cruel to Andre. It was the ultimate joke. Andre was clueless throughout the series that his so-called friends were just making fun of him and had no respect for him. Due to his own sense of self-importance, Andre could never see himself the way that the league saw him. The last episode is Andre's ultimate punishment for being such a clueless knob.

shareWhat shows have you been watching? The whole point of this show is it goes too far and takes silly ideas to their most absurd heights. It's never shown any sentimentality. This show is about funny jokes and all the ending had to do was be funny, which it did.
shareThe entire series they tortured each other. Andre was just such a weak willed person that they focused on him frequently and he absolutely brought it on himself. Let me remind you of one of the most common references from Ruxin over all the seasons...
Pete Top, Kevin Bottom.
Referencing his own friends in a homosexual relationship while simultaneously mocking Kevin for his constant submission towards his actual wife. This comment came up so often that Kevin's horrendous wife Jenny openly mocked him over it.
The Andre apologists have been reaching a lot lately because of the way the show ended. If this were in any way the real world that "Doctor" would have already been barred from the profession as he was an absolute piece of *beep* that somehow miraculously did amazing work while violating every ethical rule in place. Andre was/is as pathetic as the rest of the characters are but somehow because dip *beep* Pete won a season long commercial lottery everyone has focused on him.
The only way this show could have ended on a high note was a Fox Sports (the running fantasy football site) Fantasy Moderator who had tired of having to approve their absolute bull *beep* week in and out just flat out snapped and slowly killed them all before melting down the Shiva into something resembling a pile of *beep* that he blows his brains out on atop their corpses. Fade out.
The League owes everyone who ever watched an apology for the last two years. 30 minutes of comedy between all of it...at best.
Take heart, profundity. The last season of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" starts in January 2016. Hopefully, you will find that show and series finale more satisfying than The League.
