Was It Just a Happy Accident that in Season 7 Kevin...

...was a bigger ass than he ever was? Between raping his wife, losing his penis and generally having some of his most utterly humiliating moments of the whole series, it seems they really went out of their way to make Kevin look like as much a scum bag as possible this season. Was this just coincidental or did they rewrite this after Steve Ranazzisi's whole 9/11 controversy?
