Should continue as a novel series

Having watched it when it aired a long time ago, I thought it was one of the best shows on television, not just on Cartoon Network. So, when I heard that it was canceled, I was devastated, but that's just how it goes for high quality television shows like this sometimes.

After watching it again, I remembered how much I enjoyed it and was a bit frustrated that there were not any more episodes. I was part of the movement that tried to get it back onto the air, but of course, that did not work out. And now we're left with this cliffhanger and we don't know what happens after they escape. Which leads me to my point of this message board...

It has been six years since the show last aired, and everyone who starred in it is too old to return as their old characters. And, since it would a ridiculous (in my opinion, anyway) to to completely start the show over from scratch, I believe that the show should continue on another entertainment platform: books.

It is probably the best way to revive the series and finally know what happens after the finale of season one. I know it's been six years since it last aired, and some people might have forgotten about it, but you cannot deny that the show was addictive and finely written, produced, and acted.

So, that's what I think Paul Dini, the show's creator, should do, whether he write them by himself or with other authors. I'm not entirely sure if he should rewrite the first season into book form or just start after the events of the finale.

Hopefully, this topic brings up many conversations and provides many ideas and possible suggestions for what could hopefully be something that could happen in the future. Maybe Paul Dini will read this and the comments that follow and want to continue on the series, because he has said that he had plans for future seasons, and maybe we will finally know who the last person of the seven is.

I believe I tweeted Paul about that very option he said it wouldn't work for some reason if I remember correctly.
