This film didn't work on a number of levels (to name just a few: stilted dialogue, weak lead performance by Pattinson, the fact that it was set in New York City but so obviously not shot there), but one bright spot (and perhaps a superficial one) was that Juliette Binoche looked so damn good, amazingly good at age 47, in her lone and all-too-brief scene...
