Couple of plotholes or whatever (spoilers)...

Okay while watching this, I couldn't help but think of a few things...

Anyone ever heard of cell phone records?
When the lawyer was told of Bianca's version of events, he should have been asking for cell phone records. The record of which towers their cell phones were pinging on would have said up front that their phones were in that same area. Call history would have also helped to back up what Bianca was saying.
Knowing the lie that was being claimed, smart detective would have interviewed Fallyn, Sarah and ever Fallyn's mom (Claire) about the movies they watched and at some point casually asked, "Did anyone text you or you text anyone while watching the movies?" No matter the answer, they would have been caught in a lie.
"No" to getting/sending any text messages - they obviously had their phones.
"Yes" to getting/sending any text messages - they obviously had their phones.
"Phones were missing" - as obsessed with cell phones as teens are, why would they be watching a movie instead of using the house phone to call their cells to find them and if that didn't work, do a trace on their cell phones to find out where the phones are at?

Bianca couldn't have stolen their phones.
Let's say that Fallyn and Sarah claimed that their phones were missing or had some other b.s. to explain why they didn't have their phones (even claiming that they had accidentally left them in Bianca's car, as an example). The phones got there after Bianca did and left after Bianca did. So that would indicate that at least one other person was involved. So if Bianca knowingly had their phones and had planned in advance to get them involved, then why not leave her cell phone behind (or have the other person carry it around for her doing something else to give an alibi)? Be easier than getting herself caught up in the situation. Since someone else had to have been there, why not tell who that person was instead of pointing to Fallyn and Sarah? Back to the main point though, there were, at minimum, two different people who went out there (not including Dory). No way for it to have been Bianca alone.

Pizza companies keep records of orders too!
Claire said that she ordered pizza and that the three of them watched DVD's. Where did you order pizza from? Check their records. Not only that but if she ordered pizza, she would have had to use her phone or a computer to make the order. Remember, phone records. There's also browsing history.

Credit card companies also keep records.
Most people pay for stuff using credit cards. Only way to avoid it is to pay cash. That can also be traced though. Ordered for delivery? How much did you tip the driver? Picked up at the store? Check the receipts for a matching order. Also check security cameras to see if they were there. One way or another, a transaction can be verified (if it happened).

Sarah tried to dial 9-1-1 when Dory died.
Even if we were to assume that the call wasn't completed and even if the attempted call were erased from the phone, the fact remains that the phone still would have communicated with a tower to start the calling process. Another record.

Granted this was intended as a form of entertainment, but it's obvious that not a lot of thought went into it. There were some parts of the movie that could have been filtered out to make room for some investigative work to be done. Definitely would have been a much better movie if the above items were addressed (checking of phone records and the ordering pizza claim to start).

Anything I miss on what else was overlooked?

Edit: Oh and forgot to mention, it makes sense that the mom would ask her daughter to be honest with her in regards to what happened (when Bianca finally confessed). However, if anyone ever finds themselves in a similar situation where your kid is telling what happened and they could be at risk of being accused of something much worse, do NOT ask them if they did it and do NOT ask them to tell you the absolute truth. Instead, consult with a lawyer and let the lawyer talk with them, alone. After all, if you ask (or push) and your kid confesses to you what they 'really did' and it's something they could go to jail for, then depending on where you are, you could be asked and required to answer (truthfully) what they said to you. In other words, if they are guilty but they didn't tell you that, then you can honestly say that they didn't admit it to you. With lawyer/client privilege, the lawyer can't reveal what was said to them in confidence. A possible way around this though would be to have a separate consultation with the lawyer, with permission being given to tell you simply if, in the lawyers opinion, your child is indeed guilty of the specific crime or not. You can't be asked about your consultation and since your child didn't say it where you could hear it, you can't testify that you heard them admit to it. (Of course, a lawyer would have to confirm if that is indeed legit or not.)

At any rate, if you have any reason to believe your child may be guilty of a crime, don't ask them to tell you if they did it. Instead, let them know that if they need a lawyer to let you know so that you could help them find one. Don't ask them for any details beyond that. After the lawyer has talked to your child, the lawyer will know what to do and what may or may not be said to you or others. (Or in short, lawyer will let you know what your child is able to tell you without it hurting them.)

Also, how could the police find the hairclip in Bianca's car when Dory never even was in Bianca's car in the first place! She was in Sarah's car.

EDIT: Apparently Fallyn put the hairclip in Bianca's car. Anyway, apparently no need for the police to check for fingerprints or anything.
