Shrapnel with John Travolta and Nicolas Cage

Someone has the information on this site totally wrong. The "Shrapnel" movie John Mctiernan, John Travolta and Nicolas Cage and Evan Daughtery are doing has nothing to do with a novel written by M. Zachary Sherman. It was based on an orginal film script written by Evan Daughtery. Just a quick look at Vulture or any Internet research would tell you that this film is about a Bosnian Soldier who goes on a hunting trip with an X Green Beret. The film is scheduled to shoot in June with John Mctiernan at the help. His sentence is on appeal and he should have plenty of time to finish the film. Corsan a Begian film and finance company and L.A. based Film Engine will be producing.

John Mctiernan is one of the great action adventure directors of our time. He has an uncanny sense of film. The only thing that ever ruins one of his films is two much interference from the studios or his producers.

John Travolta is an exceptionally wonderful actor, just give him a good role an another strong and exceptionally wonderful actor to play off of like Nicolas Cage and you'll have something worth getting excited about. This new film is FACE/OFF IN THE ROCKIES.

Nothing to do with Venus or any other far away planet.

What you can expect is some wonderful changes to the orginal script with Mctiernan at the help. Some great acting and you can expect to laugh, cry and get put on the edge of your seats. OKAY MAYBE NOT A LOT OF TEARS, BUT FOR SURE YOU BE LAUGHING AND HANGING ON TO EDGE OF YOUR SEAT and isn't that what we really want.

I could not even finish watching the trailer. How on earth did John Travolta get cast in this part? He is awful! I know this is supposed to be some kind of adventure/thriller/drama but it looked so ridiculous that I could not take it seriously. The critics will savage this one for sure.

Not if the propaganda machine against Serbia is still running (which it might be)

99% of new films are garbage
