Imdb rating is locked!

Why imdb rating is locked for me? I have seen the movie and i want to rate it.

Same here - I even own the blu-ray already (from Amazon Germany...)

It's just for you,my friend.
But i changed my settings in my imdb profile, and i managed finally to rate the movie.

I have same problem. There have recently been several movies and tv shows where the star rating never activates, and i have no idea why.

What did you do to activate rating?

You can click the option "site settings" on the top right of your personal page in imdb (click over your name).
Then,click "update general site preferences" and unclick the option "always display full cast and crew credits" and SUBMIT!
Then you can rate your movie!

Thank you very much, was going nuts about this. But why does that setting disable the voting on some titles only?

I would guess because this is belatedly getting a theatrical release, the filmmakers or studio or whatever asked IMBD to remove any ratings from prior festival showings etc. until it opens, just as IMBD usually blocks user ratings for regular wide-release films until they open commercially. In many cases, the logic is to withhold the bad news until at least opening-weekend people have paid to see it, rather than letting them get warned away in advance.
