...to Bousman's other work? I thought Saw II and III were decent enough and enjoyed Repo! and The Devil's Carnival.
shareThe Saw films are the only ones of his that I've seen. I absolutely love the franchise. I would never have thought the same person directed this because jesus christ it was bad. I couldn't find a single good thing about the film. Joe Anderson's acting is always hit or miss anyway. The other lead was even worse. The lighting looked very amateur and that god awful blue-gray filter they used in half the film just made everything worse. The story was *beep* The all-powerful bad guy was weak. The constant visual references to 40s fashion was beyond kitsch. Lin Shaye had a ROLLED FRINGE. 'nuff said.
