this is NOT the much anticipated 2012 staring John Cusack

"Bad acting" would be an insult to those who actually acted poorly in film. There are bad actors and then there these jokers. Oh- and there are stereotypes galore here people: the two goons 'acting' as Middle Eastern terrorist are a joke, the token 'jive talkin' brother who reminds me more of the cop supervisor in 'Starskey and Hutch' than a top exec at NASA. In fact his voice sounds more like a voice over from the Howard Stern show doing his 'down South black dude' impersonation. Then there's the 'Tokyo Rose' chick/mad-scientist, but the one who REALLY takes the cake is the 'Vodka guzzlin' Russian mad scientist (from the 'People's Republic of Vodka)!

Now this film's really only redeeming quality is it's better than mediocre CGI and semi-entertaining car chase sequences (how they could afford Cadillac Escalades is beyond me).

Bottom line: I think I'd rather stare wide eyed into a real Super Nova explosion than watch this film again.

No it was not.
I watched this on Syfy last night and the FX are crap compared to 2012 which was so much more enjoyable.
