WAY up the list of worst movies I've seen

Let me be blunt, the only reason I watched 45 minutes of this movie was because of the 2 attractive women in it. At no point was this movie good. I've only stopped a movie before it was finished 2 times. I literally don't care how this movie ends. Seriously, they HAVE to take the computers out of the hands of small budget movie makers, at least we'll be spared crap like this. Ooooh this is going to take a few days to get over just how bad this movie was.

I seriously would rather drink bleach than watch any of this D grade fodder again.

reply

couldn't agree with you more.

reply

I agree!
We could add bad music and bad camera work to the long list of what is wrong with this movie.
Maybe they had Martians in mind when they shot scenes where both the background and the actors are... green!
I love it also when one "actress" says 'stay away from the trees' and they manage to get close to one lone tree. The "director" must have been drunk!
I should have watched it in black and white. At least it would have been like watching a z movie from the 50's.

In a world with unfettered access to high quality hard core porn, I can't fathom your reasoning.

reply

Attractive women in porn have no appeal.

I'm always wary of posts that begin, "Worst movie ever", or even, "One of the worst I've ever seen," but this movie qualifies.

Aside from everything else posted here, did anyone notice the sloppy editing? On at least two occasions, I saw the same brief footage repeated in a disaster sequence when things were being blown apart. I had to go back just to make sure I wasn't seeing things.

Even MST3K drew the line at that kind of sloppiness. No excuses for this crappy movie.

2012 Doomsday was the worst movie I ever saw... I'll watch this one to see if it's even worse...

reply

Isn't this from The Asylum? They are masters in producing very crappy movies. Another thing I just do not understand.....If you have no budget whatsoever why make a visual effects movie?

reply

Haha this is great. I was checking out if i should watch this movie or not and usuallly in threads like this you get one or two people that are like "oh come on it was ok because....." This movie doesn't even have that.

I think i'll pass.

reply

Because CGI cost next to nothing... I've even seen asylum movies where entire car chase were done in CGI certainly because it was cheaper than using fuel...

reply

"2012: Doomsday" manages to out-bad this movie in so many ways, it's redicilous! You wouldn't really think there could be much worse a film than this, but the fact that i has almost the same name is just amazing! :D

"Seriously, they HAVE to take the computers out of the hands of small budget movie makers, at least we'll be spared crap like this."

It's not about the budget being small. It's about the talent of the director/producer.

This is just... flat out terrible! What were they thinking? Unacceptable. I should have known it from the very first minute... A bunch of stereotypes... 2 Arabs, of course with Palestinian kaffiyehs, then there is a drunk Russian scientist, top secret command center that looks like a place that janitor keeps his stuff in (however you call it in English)...

And to spice it up, horrendous acting, hideous editing and directing... I mean, I've seen all kinds of crappy movies, but this one... I think this one deserves it's place in dictionaries. Like: "Dude, that apple pie was sooo 2012Supernova, I threw up like 5 minutes after I ate it!" Or "The date last night was a major disappointment, there's no way I'm gonna call that 2012Supernova again!"
