Interesting Movie.... (Spoilers!)

It really is, I like it how no one is painted in a real negative light. Meaning to say there are no clear cut villians or "bad guys" in this film. Yeah we know Zack Braff's character isn't living the best of lives & what he did hitting someone & running away was cowardice but the man was truly repentant for what he had done which is more than most people would be these days. The husband I don't really blame, he's a typical guy, there are some things that men just can't grasp, since I am a man I can attest to this.

As for the basic plot, God forbid something like this should happen to any of us, I wouldn't wish that on anyone & we all like to think in life we would make the right decisions right then and there when a tragic situation arises but being human it's more often the case that we don't no matter how much we might protest that we would. Look at this movie as a man's slow & painful journey to facing up to his own consequences and that's NEVER easy for any of us.

It's just unfortunate that Henry was in the occupation he was, anyone would have liked the guy as a friend otherwise, and it's sad the way things turned out. Getting hurt sadly was going to be unavoidable when the truth came out. All that's left is forgiveness if you have it in you that is. Nathalie said she couldn't forgive Henry, but I think despite telling him that, that she did forgive him nontheless in her heart. If this wasn't the case, she never would have had him by her side in the hospital. That's how I read it anyway.
