Why an American obsession?

Does this movie give any answers?

Wondered the same thing, I would say it is pretty universal. Seeing Tom Arnold in the credits does not inspire me to watch it.

That’s what put me off watching too. I was thinking this could be an insightful documentary but with Arnold it looks more like cheap, salacious junk.

In the age of free online porn I can't imagine why anyone would sit through this just to see boobies.

I wonder if it has to do with this statistic:

Countries with Highest Numbers of Cosmetic Surgeries
The United States tops the list with 4,042,610 cosmetic procedures performed in 2015. This number represents an increase over the previous year. The most common surgery in the US is breast augmentation, the enlarging of breasts by inserting implants.

I figured it would be about boob jobs which don't appeal to me, they tend to look terrible, sometimes hilarious.

Again though, Tom Arnold is a sure way to shoot down one's credibility.

Yeah, I have no idea. Haven't seen it and I'm sure I won't. That was just the first thought that came to mind. I assumed that people all around the world enjoyed them, so I figured it wasn't about sexual obsession, but cosmetic obsession instead.

I suppose with so many people finding it offensive when a women is noticed in certain ways, it could be another "Americans are so dumb" thing. Ignorance shown in our attraction to breasts.

A few weeks ago on here I posted a question "What does Amercian mean?" in context of all these films that have American in the title but really could be set anywhere as the stories are universal. A general consensus was "marketing".

"The United States tops the list with 4,042,610 cosmetic procedures performed"

Useless statistic unless compared per capita
...or per pair
