So I'm aspiring to be a screenwriter and I had a idea for a movie which is, 3 friends compete to be the best man for a wedding. Is it similar to this movie's plot? I don't want to have to rip off this movie.

It's similar, but at this point you'd probably just get comments comparing it to Bridesmaids. Which is common with a lot of movies.

Eh. Everything's a ripoff of something. The only original drama that we have written down is ancient Greek drama. You have my blessing, but make sure it's much better than Bridesmaids.
