Surprisingly keen to see this.

I have a habit of avoiding anything that looks like Oscar bait. And the whole time I was watching to trailer I was looking for the clues. But this luckily falls short and it seems it's intentions aren't in pandering to the Oscar crowd. I think the reason I jumped to that conclusion were two things: Historical setting and Bill Murray doing an voice.

But this seems to be one of those films you see on a whim or because your train is running late and you decide to kill some time. I've done it before and had a great time so I think I'll do it again with this film.

...i should mention that although the Oscars tend to be associated with dramas, they have been well-rounded in my view. Oscar winners include the film "The Hurt Locker", a war film based in Iraq as well as children films such as "Hugo". So, I don't personally put too much stock into a notion of a film that was created from start to finish purely for an "Oscar." Granted, the role will be different for Bill Murray, but he has been moving in this direction for some time.

That being said, I am looking forward to this film as well. Interesting signature by the way. From "Howl" by Allen Ginsberg if I recall.

It is. It's a great poem.
