YAAAAWWWWWWN

...I bet anyone that who ever sees this excuse of a movie is over 40...

Go and beat yourself off to the Dark Knight films.

reply

he's right. it's not particularly good.

reply

Seeing it and liking it are two different things. The movie was *beep* but you don't always know that going in.

reply

Thank heavens. They can hear about cultural things from their parents' basement.

reply

Don't see it then. God forbid you use your brain and ears for once.

This calls for a celebration. I'll get some donuts.

Newsflash: Some movies are actually made for adults. Who knew?

reply

Well I'm 40 and trust me, I have no intention of seeing a movie about a womanizing, racist, drunkard whose married to his cousin.

Why would anyone at any age want to see this?

reply

Because people under 40 aren't interested in history??

reply

I think anyone who found this movie riveting is deserving of our pity for leading such boring lives...

I had to fast-forward just to finish it.

It was kind of slow but it had a lot of funny moments. The parts with the royals were hilarious.

I enjoyed it on DVD. I think had I seen it in a theater I wold have been a bit bored and annoyed.

reply

Yeah, this movie is a real stinker.

reply

Yawn?

There are people under 40 who loved this intimate glance of American history at a critical juncture in global politics.

reply

True it is a yawn fest movie. Dull as dish water. However, I only knew about Lucy as a mistress , no one else.
