Aquaman spin-off in the works

I think this is a terrible idea. Making some random horror movie set in the DC universe isn't going to do any good for the franchise. Which is on shaky ground to begin with. I also don't think there should be any diluting of Aquaman's worldbuilding. You don't want people getting sick of undersea stuff before the sequel even gets made.

Hope it's titled Sea Men.

I agree this is an incredibly stupid idea. At least with the Harley Quinn spin-offs there's the chance to meet other DC characters. What's the point of this?

If this is true, then WB & DC are continuing to get ahead of themselves like they’ve “mistakenly” been doing for years.

But I guess, we’ll have to wait and see. As interesting as the idea sounds, this doesn’t seem like a smart move. Again though, better to see how it turns out first. It could possibly be a pleasant surprise.
