Entourage's portrayal of an Aquaman movie in 2005 was surprisingly on point

"Entourage’s depiction of the cultural hype cycle about the project has proven itself to be weirdly prescient on a number of levels," Charles Pulliam-Moore says of the marketing for the Jason Momoa-starring Aquaman film coming out in December. He adds: "What Entourage got very right about Warner Bros.’ approach to making Aquaman into a Thing™ is how much work the studio had to put in to convince everyone to take the film seriously."

That fake trailer they made was actually made by James Cameron. It isn't much but it sure packed more emotional gravity than anything Ive seen DC do yet. Too bad Cameron didn't do this (and with a diff lead)
Crossing my fingers but not placing any bets.

Lol... this is priceless. Whilst the long-awaited final film didn’t exactly take itself too seriously, this article still rings true. In fact, knowing that several critics acknowledged the whole Entourage thing in their Aquaman reviews is amusing.
