Aren't you the Three Amigos of the recruiting effort?

How is it going so far?

In a way, all of us has an El Guapo to face. For some, shyness might be their El Guapo. For others, a lack of education might be their El Guapo. For us, El Guapo is a big, dangerous man who wants to kill us. But as sure as my name is Lucky Day, the people of Santa Poco can conquer their own personal El Guapo, who also happens to be *the actual* El Guapo!

But seriously, about one month to go and there are no front runners yet.

I am also really disappointed that TwistedAcrobat hasn't decided to participate this year.

You might be but I am not. TwistedAcrobat never seemed authentic to me and was (even as a real person and poster) a caricature of all things misinformed and or swayed by pervasive and rampant conspiracies spread around the Internet.

He lived in Portugal and his world view of other places and people was heavily tilted towards propaganda and an avid bias towards others. Conversing with him was an exercise in constant disambiguation.

A little bit like conversing with you on certain subjects. At least with you ofttimes you TRY to be obtrusively humorous and hide behind a faux devil's advocacy when you know you're on the wrong side of facts.

There were and are times when I felt that certain posters on these boards were nothing more than selectively compensated provocateurs. Even unpaid trolls aren't that obtuse and vapid on purpose.

But then again maybe they are......

He was just your average run of the mill troll, kept things fun and exciting.

I just hope I don't have to cancel this years contest due to lack of trolls.

I'm not sure what the criteria is for being nominated by BubbatheGut, AckbartheHutt and PresidentAckbar? I believe they are the election, selection and nominating committee chair-person? I don't mean respectively either.
