Can someone provide some insight to this little film? I enjoyed the photography and unique soundtrack but the narrative felt very disheveled.
I understood the characters connections but sometimes their motivations seemed awkward to me.
Any thoughts on some of the underlying messages this movie was portraying? Maybe I just need a second viewing.
Funny, I just got done watching it too and was going to come here and post the exact same thing (almost word for word).
My thoughts are that the movie revolved around someone without any real sense of purpose. Being that that runs in the family and is reflected in those one chooses to interact with, we have basically witnessed a snippet of that persons everyday life.
The same story could have been filmed in Fontana, CA., and have added hookers, speed freaks, and many more people willing to draw guns on anyone, as well as random yard sales gone wild to boot.

The movie was literally pointless with awkward characters that don't act like anyone I've ever seen in my life. James Russo's character was the only decent character and they he goes and does something completely ridiculous in the movie. Holy Crap... STAY far away from this film if you value your time.
